A Comprehensive Evaluation

Finding contact lenses that are right for your eyes starts with an in-depth eye exam.

We’ll determine your prescription and the presence of any refractive errors through a series of tests. Common refractive errors we check for include myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism.

After we determine what prescription you need, we’ll go over your options. We’ll discuss the different brands and offerings, including daily, biweekly, and monthly, and extended wear options.

Finding Your Fit

Sometimes patients struggle with utilizing traditional lenses due to eye shape, certain eye conditions, or the effects of surgery. We’re committed to helping you find both a comfortable and effective option.

We offer scleral contact lenses, a large-diameter and gas-permeable lens, to help provide you with sharp, comfortable vision. The large diameter allows the contact to rest on the sclera (the white part of the eye) and vault over top of the cornea. Because the contact lens doesn’t touch the cornea, it’s a great choice for individuals with corneal irregularities.

Scleral lenses are durable and can help alleviate the symptoms of dry eye disease because the space between the cornea and the lens creates a fluid reservoir to maintain moisture.
